What I Liked
The atmosphere and setting are truly magical—beautiful decor and top-notch service make the experience feel elegant and special.
Our favorites were the finger sandwiches, the imported chocolate truffle, and the seasonal scone, which was good (though not the best I’ve tried). The teas were interesting, offering a nice variety to explore.

What I Didn’t Like
The price is steep, and honestly, I’m not sure it’s worth $125. Most of the items, apart from the sandwiches, can be purchased at the bakery next door, which diminishes the exclusivity.
The teas were served warm to cold, which is disappointing for a tea service.
The pâtisseries were underwhelming overall, with the macaron being my least favorite—it was chewy and didn’t feel like a true macaron.

My Overall Thoughts
Having tried breakfast, lunch, dinner, bakery items, and now Afternoon Tea, I believe The Cake Bake Shop’s strength lies in their high-quality dishes and cocktails rather than their baked goods.
While the experience and setting are lovely, I wouldn’t return for Afternoon Tea at this price. That being said, this could be a wonderful experience for a very special occasion, like a birthday, an anniversary.
However, I’d happily go back for breakfast, which I enjoyed, and I’m curious to try more of their lunch and dinner options. The bakery items, in my opinion, don’t justify the price tag.
Reservations must be made by email or phone, which, speaking from experience, can be a frustrating and less-than-enjoyable process.

They also offer a kids' menu, as well as allergy-friendly and vegan menu options. Be sure to specify any dietary restrictions when booking. Additionally, if there are any items on the menu you don’t enjoy, you can request a substitution in advance.
Our server mentioned that you cannot request additional servings of any items from the Afternoon Tea, except for the teas.

So, what do you think? Would you pay $125 for this Afternoon Tea?
